What is 3PA?

The Lightspeed 3PA is a series of web-based API endpoints. An API (Application Programming Interface) allows one program to communicate to another. The endpoints in 3PA connect Lightspeed dealer data to the API user. Data that is requested from 3PA is handed over to the dealer’s system for fulfillment thus allowing up-to-date data being handed back. Data sets are returned in a JSON format which allows for easy integration with your programming code. 3PA cannot hand back data files in CSV or another format.
